Thanks for the well wishes, guys. It was truly difficult time in the hospital.
They have cut way back on opiate delivery to patients inside of the hospital, since C.Baker's bill went through. I had 4 - 3" bolts put into two vertebrae, along with 2 titanium rods, and it hurt like a m-f'er.
I've never had pain as intense as I had for this surgery.
They aren't doing the morphene PDA's anymore and had me on 4 - 10 mg oxycodone a day. It killed me.
They ended up changing my prescription to get me out of the pain hole. I didn't eat a thing the whole 5 days I was in there.
Good news is that I'm home now and fishing is coming quickly.
I even filed for unemployment yesterday.
You guys are truly a class act. I was looking forward just to reading the forums while I was in the hospital...I missed the site like crazy.
