Just a question Ross. Did you paint the transducer with transducer paint? I found out about this special paint from my marina yard manager and I have not had anything attached to the transducer in 2 years.
I'm way up in the back of Warwick Cove and we had 80+ degree water this year with no growth on the transducer. I used Pacifica on the bottom and my boat hull was essentially clean. I power washed anyway when I pulled but there was almost nothing on the hull.

No boat, back in the suds.
