What's up for the weekend?
A little work, a little fun, deliver a project to Clammer. Football
Couple things I have learned in my approaching 50 years:
Years are good and bad, with segments of darkness and of joy.
We (usually) lose more people we know the older we get as we know more, and well, we're getting older. Toss in a few "stars" and voila
I was listening to something the other day that was intriguing. However bad 2016 was (and it sucked and globally 2017 will be worse) it may pale in contrast to 1968 which had MLK/RFK assassinations, Vietnam/Tet, Significant Riots by the peaceful party... A year that for many defined how bad it could be. But I was born in 68 so for me it is a good year. A lot of good friends I grew up with were born in 68 - can't be that bad...
Lucy Lawless and Catherine Bell were born in 68. So was Moira Kelly
Some other great people were surely born in 1968. Surely some bad ones too.
Maybe 30-40 years from now we will look back and see that the person that forever eradicated cancer was born in 2016. Or another great year, like 1978.
Years ebb and flow, in your own little circle you can make things better or worse, make your own luck.
Enjoy what you have ~ And Happy New Year
