I like a solid deadrise on my boats for narraganset bay to block island. You'll welcome it in a stiff SW wind over tide. Ill sacrifice a stable drift for cutting through a head sea.
BTW saw a hydrasport in the harbor today with quad 7's!!!!!! drool factor was a 10.
