Tried to introduce a new saltwater fly fisher to some easy pickings so I thought. So I went out to a sandbar out by charles island
but so far except for one outing I had last week it was a bust everytime since then. What's the word this year.. Seems snappers are hard to come by at least for me west of new haven . Also saw this out at one of the salt ponds out in Rhode island I visited a few times over the past few weeks and yesterday..
