I like finger nail clippers for clipping line (braid/mono) and my $7 stainless pliers are in their 3rd year, they've been frozen shut before, but a wire brush wd40 and elbow grease they're as good as new. I've been lucky with these pliers, but I'm too prone to losing,misplacing, and leaving behind small stuff.
