doesn't look like we will find a yearly rental right now, gonna have to do a winter rental and just put our stuff in storage for now.

I might be homeless for the last week of august Will trade art for a place to stay for a week. maybe ill convince the wife to spend a week in a yurt at the state park

we are moving for a couple reasons, and its not the taxes. I try not to worry about things I cannot control...

we are moving because my wife loves her job but hates her school now. She has been trying to find a new job for the past 3 summers, she almost got a job out on the vineyard but it wound up going to the local girl over her, which is no surprise. the things wrong with my wifes school cannot fit in the library of congress...

I'm down to move because as an artist I'll do well on the cape. tons of galleries for me to try to get into (my next adventure...dealing with galleries). There are lots of farmers / artisans / flea markets out there. there are also the artist shacks in orleans and hyannis that i'll probably do as well. hell I do very well at the cheap well fleet flea market, if i can sell 300-2000 dollar pieces of art there I'm pretty sure my work will sell wherever I go

To be honest the straw that broke our backs if the constant 24/7 365 days of traffic here. You literally can not get on rt 95 at ANY point in the day without hitting traffic. when its not traffic is CONSTANT road work. we live like 12 miles from greenwich where my wife works, and it takes her 1 hr to get to work, and 1.5 hrs to get home from work every single day...

her new commute should be under 15 minutes. we can deal with cape summer tourist traffic because all in all its nothing compared to the daily traffic down here.

I don't even want to get started on how bad the fishing is down here. Once our resident fish leave the Housy and the adjacent inshore spots the surfcasting instantly dies. Every spot is so blown out with people its ridiculous. go fish the popular side of the river mouth? have fun with 30 of your new friends every single night. go fish the not as productive side, and you'll have 5 new friends....

the norwalk islands hold their own and are still productive, but I'm kinda over kayak fishing....

and the #1 reason. ALBEEEZZZZ!

september is national fish for albies all day every day month!
