I've said it before, but I'm about 99.99999999999% certain that we will never see another coast-wide moratorium on striped bass barring some sort of health hazard. It wasn't for the good of the species which got the government to pass the moratorium, it was the fear of PCB's and preventing of unknowing seafood enthusiasts from ingesting contaminated fish.
