Tuna Breaching

Fished Sunday out of a friends boat and had a great day on tog, matching my personal best with an 11 lber, which damn near pulled me out of the boat. Two very large tuna breached about 100 yards from where we were anchored up, man they were big and what a sight to see. The other site I was happy to see was albies working on the way in and I was lucky enough to hook into three and boy are they fun on light gear. Seen Tuna breach from a distance in buzzards bay on occasion, but up close and personal was cool.

My buddies friend boated a slob trigger fish and I told him two things. First you better have an extremely sharp filet knife to get through the leathery skin and be ready for one of the best eating fish around these parts sometimes.
