Here is some, think you have the skill to do that? http://www.coaleducation.org/technol..._equipment.htm

Lot's of people on this site who have chosen to work with their minds and hands rather than driving a desk and would not trade you for your space in a cubicle working with or maybe being Bill Lumbergh.

Keep in mind that working in the coal industry in coal country is sort of like working in insurance in Connecticut.
First, you ignored my comment that it was Biden who said they use shovels. You said it insane to think that, so I pointed out is was Biden who said it, and POOF, you no longer care about saying they use shovels. What does that tell you?

"Your words commenting on others"

Wrong again! I quoted Biden, who said explicitly, "anyone who can shovel coal..." Those were Biden's words, not mine. Snack on that.

"I assume you could run or maintain the required equipment to mine coal?"

You're so deranged, you can't see that you are proving my point, not challenging it. I don't know if I could learn to run that equipment, but the fact that I'm good at my current job, says NOTHING about my ability to ever learn that job. Using your logic, it's just as stupid to assume that miners could learn to write code. You are making the same exact argument I am making. Exactly the same.

I never came close to saying there's anything wrong with working with your hands. I have no idea who you are responding to. For the 20th time, what I'm saying, is that being able to work with your hands, doesn't imply an ability to be able to make a living writing code.
