No, as usual you're wrong. I won't get such a shirt. I didn't get a "I'd rather be red than dead" shirt either. And I certainly don't claim that liberalism is obsolete. I am liberal. Most of my friends and family are liberal.
As for Democracy, it's a very nice word. All manner of dictatorial governments also think it a very nice, useful, word. They are proud to announce the results of their elections.
