If he was given hydroxychloroquine( HE WAS NOT) should I have concluded this was the reason he only had mild symptoms, based on his age and the news on who is at greater risk

But if he had been given it and with all the info on who's being impacted, by covid the conclusion would have been the hydroxychloroquine saved him , and perhaps his doctor would draw the same conclusions and prescribed to others ..

when what actual happen wasHe just kicked it with no medical Treatment other hydration and tylenol. And he just stayed at home

His recovery isnt Anecdotal ... but if he was on hydroxychloroquine it would be considered anecdotal
You are so, so ignorant on this. I'm glad you aren't advising your dad (thank God his case is mild, I hope it stays that way!)

It's not for people with mild symptoms. It's mostly being reserved for people with severe symptoms, and many doctors have ghad success.

Obviously, if a person takes the drug and gets better, that doesn't necessarily mean the drug was the reason...perhaps they would have gotten better on their own.

But why are so many doctors saying that it's helping, in some cases? It's not 100% effective, nothing is. But why are so many doctors saying they are having success, with certain kinds of patients? They're all lying?

Just because you and Spence hate the fact that Trump was right about something, doesn't mean he can't ever be right bout anything.

That's all this is. If Trump said chloroquine could never help, you'd all be saying everyone should take it.

I'm no expert on medicine. I leave it to the experts. So when I hear doctor after doctor after doctor say that the drug has helped in certain cases, I have n reason to doubt them. You and Spence and CNN and MSNBC have a reason to doubt them - you hate Trump.

NO DOCTOR, not one, is denying that most who get it can recover with no medical treatment. What they are saying (and you'd know this if you'd take your fingers out of your ears), is that some very sick patients, are having success with the drug. They're not saying everyone needs the drug, they're not saying everyone is a good candidate to take the drug, they're not saying that everyone who is a good candidate will be cured with the drug. They are saying it helps.

You guys are completely out of your minds, and have turned this forum into an absolute waste, when it didn't used to be that way. It's not possible to have a rational conversation.
