I have never heard anyone say blue crab has a strong flavor. My kids were just questioning the veterinarian mom yesterday while eating some we caught the night before why they only have delicate white meat, while other creatures seem to have at least some dark meat. It is the best seafood available in my opinion. Lobster doesn't compare in my book. We do live in bizzaro world these days, so I really shouldn't be surprised, but that is astonishing to me
