you’re right, the violence probably helps him. but it's left wingers committing 95% of the violence, not conservatives. they’re playing right into his hands. and that’s their choice, he isn’t forcing anyone to do anything. unlike democrats, he condemned the violence early on. they ignored it. the polling shows that was a mistake, so only now democrats acknowledge the violence, but say it’s all trumps fault. maybe that works. maybe it doesn’t.
