I have had requests for Yaking, Beach Buggy, Freshwater, groundfish, (one for locked access over two particular bridges
) and a couple others I can't think of.
My opinion the two major categories of saltwater fishing are boat fishing (must be done from boat) and shore fishing, oddly enough coming from the shore. By basic definition surfcasting is a subset of shore fishing. Not all shore anglers are surfcasters but all surfcasters are shore anglers. Boaters can be river, offshore, inshore and then divied up into presentations, bait, artifical, fly and shore anglers can be divied up the same way too. You can be in the salt or in fresh or even dig a hole thru the ice, or....
