See, your big problem up there is that y'all speak New England.
In most of the country, when you want a black coffee, you order a "black no sugar". Asking how many sugars is what they do if you don't specify "no sugar" as "black" just means, "no cream".
Up there, a "regular" is cream and 2 sugars. In the rest of the country, a "regular" is just a medium shade coffee. Two shots from the automatic creamer, usually. You have to say, "regular, 2 sugars" to get what you call a "regular".
Now if'n ya cain't expect a Noo Yawk college kid, or an Ohio grad student to know what ya mean by "regular" how can you expect a guy who came here from Pakistan 9 months ago to know?
