I think Steve is being a little harsh, but he's entitled to his opinion.

Folks who fish on the wet rockpiles of Rhody, the Elizabeths, and Montauk have a slightly more charitable

opinion of the VS reel, but given the foibles everyone hears about, there's not much patience for a $500+ reel that fails.
