Doing my first build and am doing shrink grips for upper and lower grips. Do you overlap the shrink material regardless of what it is over the reel seat?? Or try to get it close then run a thread band?? On all my
Other rods it looks like you over lay the shrink material over both sides of the reel seat and then tape and run a small strip of epoxy over the joint. Curious if I’m on track or not
