Over the past four years, the Trump administration orchestrated a fire sale of public lands, and companies stockpiled leases on millions of those acres. By sitting idle on these leases, the industry is not creating any revenue or jobs—energy or otherwise. It is, however, making a sizable parcel of public lands unavailable for other valuable uses, such as recreation and conservation, at the taxpayer’s loss.

Politico confirmed the emails are genuine. i don’t know what you’re talking about, neither does anyone else.

and oil prices are highly prospective and speculative. it’s. it just about what’s happening today.
