I had a monster blue knock 3-4 mid teen ones out of the way like bowling pins to take a Roberts plug. East Beach MV, sometime in the 90s, easily the toughest fight a fish ever gave me, and I wrestled 40# bass out of the Wasque rip back in the old days. Probably over 20#. It was the day after the Derby ended (of course
) so it got to swim away.
