Well, which do you prefer? Lets open a can of worms here....this should prove controversial!
I grew up with a fake tree and it was all I ever knew....I loved that old beatup tree because I am an old fashioned, traditional guy! However, once I got out of the house and on my own, got a real tree and I never looked back! It just ain't Christmas with a fake tree and I frown whenever I see one.
Not to mention some of these pieces of crap they sell today....FishChicks sister bought a new fake tree the other day and the lights come already on the tree!
What happens when the lights fail? Throw the whole tree away?
I love the smell of a new tree and I do not mind the mess after cleaning up! For the pleasure I get out of it, it is worth it to me! My brother has a fake tree and every year we go over to his house and the damn thing always looks the same, year after year!
