The last year we could we netted Herring at Gilbert Stuart and put them in the back of my old Blazer in a 30 gallon barrel with an aireator running off the cigarette lighter outlet.
Ran to Sprague Bridge and live lined under the bridge. Oh my God did we catch big girls!!!
