So.... I've been out a few times and never really done that great. Problem for me is Block is roughly a 2 hr hump (42 miles) from my marina that I only make under good conditions. I usually get to the ledge at ~2-3 AM.
That being said, the only area I know (barely) is the SW ledge, and when that is a bust I really got nuttin in my bag of tricks. An example is the past Saturday when all I could muster was BSB on eels once the sun broke. Not what I invested the time or money for. (Friday was apparently EXCELLENT). I saw not one SB caught.
I'm not looking for any specifics, but if anyone out of the kindness of there cold dark heart (or a sense of pitty
) wouldn't mind sharing some GENERAL knowledge I'd be appreciative (which i understand is worth less that a cup of coffee). I am a firm believer in earning what you know, but it's hard when you can only make it to an area 1- 2 times a year.
