Thank you for posting this. I did not forget, I will never forget. In hindsight I am disappointed in myself for not posting here. I was here virtually on that morning with many of you as we recounted what was happening.

I was stuck on something work since early in the morning. 9/11 tugged on my heart all day long, as it does everyday, but particularly on the Anniversary yesterday. Some years I have called out the times when the towers fell, some years we all talk our stories of where we were that day. Yesterday, early, I was with a group of guys that were mostly in uniform that day. And they recalled their stories.

I did take the opportunity early yesterday to review a story that I see every year from someone that was in the Pentagon from that office where most of those folks died. Someone that had to hold the hands of the families of those lost . Unfortunately, sadly, I did not walk through all the things that I want to walk through every September 11th. Want is the wrong word, compelled.

Last night and this morning I read more stories, some familiar, some for the first time.
