i really like the feel of the 1088 for most of what i throw when i use a 9' rod (spring run on the CT river). the biggest i will toss with it is a 3.5 ounce pencil popper. i broke 2 1088's this past spring doing this, though,

which is why i i am looking for something with a little more power to it. if i could get a blank that is a 9' version of the 120 1M, i would have the perfect rod. maybe i'll have to cut down one of those....
