Clammer i hear you out. But most if not all my bassing is done off the rocks. I wouldn't want to go below 8'
St Croix, Toonoc ,does make some sweeties. I've fished Loomis rods over the years as well.
I'm still thinking 1 ounce to be the sweet spot for the rod.
