having been in food service myself I have no prblem tipping 15% for ok service 20% for good service or more for great service. and this is the norm.

oh and if the service sucked....let them know it....but please be sensitive to the situation....just because your food took forever doenst mean its the servers fault...the delay could have been in the kitchen......just keep an eye out....if he/she seems on the ball with drinks and everything else...its probably not their fault
