I remember about 5 years ago I had a 16' Aluminum with a 25 Mariner, it was fathers day and I took my 4 year old out fishing in the morning, we fished from the tip of the sandspit inside all the way around by Little Harbor over to Long beach, I can't even begin to tell you how many stipers we caught only a couple were of any size but every 3 minutes we had a fish on, I had brought a real light fresh water rod for my son to throw around to "let him fish his own pole" I ended up using this with 4lb test just to change things up a bit. I will never forget my son sleeping lying down across the benches on the aluminum rolling back and forth with the waves, as I pulled in fish after fish,he was wiped out! Most memorable fathers day!!
Love that place but don't dare bring the big boat in there.
