Okay, so I'm not the only one. 9 guides sounded a little crazy to me for a 9 footer. I'll take your guides instead. The reels for the 9 footer are going to be Shimano Stradic 4000s.
I'll build my 9 footer first and if it's too much for her to handle, I'll look at other blanks.
