I've got the Aurora and its a great little light. I usually wear it around my neck rather than the head while fishing, unless I'm walking on rocks. And the light is hinged so I can point it down to my feet so all I'll light up on the low setting is the area right in front of me.
I've been thinking about trying some of that clear plastic red tape for tail lights over the lense for night vision
