On May 31st he's going to roll out of bed, scratch his cheek and mosie on over to the kitchen. The coffee pot will already have done it's job of brewing his coffee. Shortly after preparing his cup, he will sit down infront of his PC...log on and start surfing. After checking out a few of his *normal* sites, (which we won't go into..because the feds are already onto him ),...he will pop into SB.com to see what's going on..(yes,.... , he is presently a Lurker)...he will pop open the "Plug-War" thread, which will be in full swing at that time (again!! )...he will laugh about it, like he did earlier on in the winter and move onto the next topic.
He will then start looking thru some recent fish landing threads. Fishermen will be well into Bass at this time...and there will be pictures posted of some decent fish...nothing too big, but enough to stir him up. He'll start shuffling his feet beneath the desk with anxiety as he see's Bloo's post. He will gently grab his mouse and carefully squeeze it to get a firm grip of it. He will then start moving his mouse up and down with anticipation, his heart will start racing, his palms will begin to perspire, he'll begin to think of his *earlier mentioned websites*, shake his head clear of those thoughts and back into the Bass realm...he will then open up Bloo's thread to find a few pictures of some decent Strippers that had been caught the night before. He will become ecstatic......the length, the girth, the curves...and finally,,,the colon protruding from the ...but anyways, ...he will then email Bloo (not PM him, because he's not a member yet )..questioning his technique, MO, and finally ....his SPOT! ...being the GREAT guy that Bloo is, he open-heartedly replys to that email with MO and location/time/tides etc...
That same night, after work...the lurker will head to the (%Gspot%)-yet to be determined///...he'll digg into his plastic plano tackle box...pull out a rubber, look around, and then carefully attempt to slide it on.. without ripping it...I recommended a ribbed rubber due to it's sensitivity and action. As he slides it onto the shaft, he will pause...and wonder if it's upside down...again, he'll scratch his cheek in wonder. Not really being sure, he forces the rest of it on....and it rips. ...he then grabs a different brand, yes...a ledgerunner (also ribbed underneath), purchased at M&Ds in Wareham ...He had read about these rubbers and purchased some late last season...Mike had mentioned how their strength compared to other leading brands, ...(at this time, I'm not sure which type of rubber he initially tried)...He already had his "Owner" hook set up. This time, the rubber will slide on gracefully...and with the grooves in these rubbers it's a no-brainer as to how they go on. OK, he's all set up now....ready for his first cast......

(...to be continued)
