I hear ya Krisp. Most of the time I use a alice-pack and in it is my surf bag. I can't see having everything with you all the time, to much weight. I keep on me the essentails, the rest is in back pack. I do bring extra swivels hooks and leader but thats just back up for my back up....ya never know
