Sorry to hear that Jules - my wife's uncle took his own life though he was older. It's a painful thing to deal with.
I remember reading about a year ago a piece from the OpEd pages of the NY Times - the writer told the story of a friend who had taken his own life and his pain and confusion over it. The last line of the piece was - (I'm paraphrasing here) - "May the good Lord in His mercy bestow on him the forgiveness that he could not give himself". I thought it said alot -
