Sufster--The 50 caliber muzzle load fits perfect in a 1/2 inch hole,add bb shot for extra weight. Mix epoxy with West System filler to thicken and paste the shot into the hole,finish smooth.After it drys scuff with scratch pad than apply your favorite finish. Like Bob Thomas said watch out for coated lead. Hope this helps
