If you get in a yacht club you would be surprised about the money you can save being a boater. i went from $85/ft to $11/ft and there is discount at the pumps for gas. i know there is usually a big waiting list to get in but the sooner you get on a waiting list the better you would be. also a yacht club is allot more personal than a marina i found. people seem to be more willing to help out at a yacht club. just my opinion.
