redlight,
I find your question about the colder winter, and the effect on mung interesting. An old timer and I were wondering the same thing the other day. We were talking about the ice up CC bay, and Pleasant bay, and the line of sea ice from the Race to Chatham, and how everyone was saying how unusual it was , we were remembering when it was unusual to have a winter without it, until the 80's-90's when the milder winters were the norm. Anyway, there was less mung with the colder winters and sea ice back then, we were hoping there was a connection, and meybe less mung this year as a result who knows?

Slip, I believe in prayin' for them SW winds too
