If you hire someone to guide you, they better not be afraid to show you all the "secret" spots. Why did you hire someone in the first place?

A favorite rock, a deep hole, a rip that forms at a certain stage of the tide, a special lure or technique.

A good paid guide should teach you as much as they can in the time you've hired him for. If they are good, they will have so many "secrets" a day on the water shouldn't really mater to them.

Your not going to get 50 years of experience in one day from a true "pro" guide.
