I've had teen sized fish straighten similar hooks (might have been a size bigger) but the were VMC's... It's all physics and leverage.. Didnt help that plug had taken 7 other decent fish that night...
Oh well... in your case it was definetly a 50... what are ya gonna do... cry about it
