Did they finally get the Baker Perkins web into Graphic services?Live about 2 miles away.Print staff might be Ok if your looking for sheet fed work but all they come up with for web Jobs is running a cold set diddie or roll tending.Most of the big webs have gone away.I*ve been a 4/c commercial heat set web presman On Harris Presses for 26 years and in web printing for like 34 and there just arent many jobs left in my area south of Boston.I worked for a place for 17 years that moved up to Maine and went there but hated the cold and the fact that they did nothing but take bennys away from us for two years so left and came back.Commuted to the NH border for 12 years till another closed down.Loved the summer commute on fridays -- 3 hrs to get home through cape traffic.Every afternoon Boson traffic was always an experiance ya-------- whaaaaaa whaaaa whaaa but the Up-side is now have a lot more time to build rods and fish.
