Wow.. I would never have guessed that... 25-35 YARDS not feet? That's a lot. As for dacron... I really don't know I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination
. I know a guy who uses electricians tape instead of mono. I use mono but only like 15 yards. It's funny... when I switched to braid I couldn't believe how much further I was casting. But the added sensitivity alone enough to make me a beliver. Have you caught a fish on mono after using braid? I hooked up on mono after a year of using braid I didn't even think I had a fish on! I might have to spool up an extra spool and test your theory, but in the end I think I'm a braid guy.
