Not all. Machines are a big help but the detailing is most certainly by hand.
This is not MY creation. Jack who works with me here is a carver of extraordinary ability. I posted a bluefish that he did this Fall. I did the hand sanding on that one and applied the finish. It was a natural model and he likes my natural and hand sanded finishes.
He will paint this one in oils and epoxy. It will be something. The photo was taken about two hours from priming which is happening now. He had a few details to finish off before hand. Can anyone pick up where he needs to finish ?
