Hmmm, I was thinking the same thing.

If we had a continuous thaw and gradual warming trend this spring, I would have been out there weeks ago.

However, with the spike in cold temps and runoff from snow, I would venture to guess that your chances will be optimized on a warm and sunny day.

Wouldn't hurt to head out this weekend.

Trick is, CHUM HEAVILY. Use Berkley scents, wet catfood, and crushed fresh mussels to attract the flatties to your hook.

My favorite bait is sand worms.
