This might be a new one for you, it certainly was for me. I took a seminar from Saltwater Sportsman Mag a couple of weeks ago. They mention one of the things that attracts Flounder better than anything else is Corn. Yup, take a can of Green Giant (or brand X) corn and dump it over the side ..... be sure to open the can first.
None of them seemed to know for sure what attracted them, but they (about 1/2 doz charter captains from RI to Maine) all agreed it works great. Who know, it's not like they see it in their natural habitat.
Can't wait to try it out.
