One of my buddies had a little brother about 7 years old at the time. Well a couple of his older brothers had told him that Santa Claus was not real, that he did not exist!

Well I felt so bad for him, he was so upset, that with Cristmas a few days away, I spoke with his Mother about it. With her approval, I dressed up as Santa Claus and showed up at his house on Christmas Eve just before his bedtime and knocked on the door. The look on his face was worth the price of admission, I will never forget how happy that little boy was to see that Santa really did exist. I gave him a few Star Wars figures all wrapped up, (Star Wars was all the rage at that time and those were his favorites) and he just had a ball.

That is probably the nicest thing that I have ever done as a random act of kindness.
