Well, P-town is by far the most bang for the buck, even at $100.
The weeklys could be double, and they would still sell plenty.
P-town is the last beach in the State to do the weekly ticket, Nauset has not had one in years.
Nauset is a lot more dough, but no limit on the stickers they sell, as opposed to P-town. They do have a day limit on vehicles, first come, first on, based on the status of the birds nests, and open areas on the beach.
Nauset WILL have another substantial increase next year, don't shoot me, I'm only the messenger. They have figured out an easy way to generate revenue, and they will push it to the max. Every year there is an increase in sticker sales, regardless of how much they charge. Them people with the new Escalades, Navigators, Land Rovers, Hummers, etc. do NOT care what the sticker price is, and there seems to be more of them, than the pick-up, camper, and Jeep mind-set.
Personally, I think the seashore should eliminate the weekly sticker, and have no limit on the stickers they sell, would eliminate the hyped up rush by us to get the annual sticker, and increase the revenue for them. Win/Win, I'd say. Unfortunately, they will not consider this option.
Bigfish, will I see you at the P-town, Nauset, or Sandy Neck clean-up this year?
