Stayed over last night, up at 4:00 am, hit Dunkin Doughnuts at 5:00 am when they opened, and got to the Race at 5:30 and it was already packed.
Got in line with about 125 people ahead of me, and when I left at 11:15 there was about 200 or more people in line and it was a madhouse outside the lot all the way up to rt 6. Alot of unhappy campers
alot of out of staters and people who drove a long way got turned away....they shut down Race Point Rd. and were turning people away by 8:30 am. What a mess.
Fishchick and I were fortunate, we got our stickers and saw alot of people we knew there.
Good luck to you guys who are headed down there....all I can say is get there early!
