Hi Jamie M, you will find that some other charter captains as well as Bill & Jules use live lining fishing with herring and mackerel in Boston harbor, MA. All depends on the availablity sp? of the bait. When the fish move into the harbor around the 2nd week of May till the end of June, Live Mackerel is the way to go, then we concentrate on using live herring. Hope this helps!!!
