Since the mouth of the CT is further South then the Themes and RI, wouldn't fish show up first in the CT? I think the interior of the Sound would warm up faster then say the waters off of Watch Hill. I'm pretty sure that these fish aren't holdovers. But then again, I also am a very optimistic person when it comes to fishing and just want the season to start. So please, don't burst my bubble. I'll be fishing for em all next week regardless.
