Thanks for posting a reminder, Corey - as I mentioned earlier, I'm not gonna be able to help out on this one because I have a gig on Saturday and just can't say no to the money. I will be there to pitch in on the next one.

One thing I think we have to be mindful of is the fact that most - but not all - the places we fish here and in So.Co. are public. But the ones that adjoin private properties should be handled in a respectful fashion. And in some cases, unless some sort of prior arrangement has been made, we have to be careful of trespassing. You know what I mean but I think it merits a mention, anyway.

Hey, hope to see ya tonite - it's the last meeting of the year, the Iron Skillet gets his trophy for the Sixty and it's a potluck nite, too - I'm even gonna make my special Drunken Titog Stew (with too much vermouth as usual - heheheheh) with a made-from-scratch fish stock base - Cap'n Fred was nice enough to donate some Blackfish and Cod fillets. Thanks again, Fred!

See ya there.

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.
