The recipe is kind of a family secret - it's from my Uncle Red who...well, Uncle Red drank a lot.

It's pretty much like a regular chowda recipe except you use blackfish or cod instead of clams.

And like most of Uncle Red's recipes it has liquor in it. The important ingredient in the chowda is dry vermouth.

A lot of it.
